Richard "Rich" Marino

Mr. Marino is the Corporate Secretary, the Chief Operations Officer, as well as being one of the Directors for Marino Corporation. He is responsible for the safe and efficient completion of all company projects. 

 

Before his father founded Marino Corporation, Rich worked for his grandfather at Trinity Paving Company. During his time there, he served in many roles including Equipment Superintendent, Field Superintendent, Operations/Logistics Manager, Estimator, & finally Director of Sales & Marketing. 

 

Prior to ever working in the construction industry, Mr. Marino served 5 years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an infantry officer. In 1989, upon leaving active duty, he joined the reconnaissance company based in Frederick, MD. His unit was mobilized & deployed to Saudi Arabia & participated in the liberation of Kuwait during the first Persian Gulf War. In 1995, Mr. Marino left the reserves with his notable rank of Major.

 

Rich holds B.S. degrees in both Political Science & Sociology from Villanova University. While there, he met his, now, wife Margrit, a highly recognized esteemed teacher from North Penn. They have four kids together – Mike, Sam, Katie, & Matt. He enjoys spending his time with his children and his now 3 grandkids. He has been active in youth baseball for over 20 years, is a loyal Phillies & NASCAR fan, and enjoys reading and playing golf.
